Vriesea saudersii has thick, leather-like, light blue-green leaves, covered with a beautiful purple pattern. From above, the plant appears more blue. Native to Brazil.

We recommend planting this species in an orchid/bromeliad mix for best results. It can be grown like an air plant, however, it may require more frequent watering.
