We started calling this plant "Witch Claw" for fun, and it seems like the name caught on and is now the common name for this fuzzy weirdo!

Tillandsia seleriana is so unique and odd, with its bulbous base and super fuzzy "fingers". These plants look like fuzzy witch hands! They can grow very large over time. This species requires excellent air circulation after watering. Be very careful when watering!!! The base can hold water, so make sure you shake it out real good after watering and allow good air circulation to avoid rot.
