Tillandsia rothii, 28” diameter. This rare, mega giant’s bud is beginning to emerge. Rothii blooms for a plant of this size may be a foot tall and last for months. Blooms spikes are beautiful rainbow of tropical colors with purple tubular flowers. Pups (baby plants) will form at the base. To produce another thick and large rothii, do not remove pups from the mother for as long as you can stand it!
